ASHRAE UK Midlands and RED Engineering Data Centre Training for Students

ASHRAE UK Midlands YEA and Sheffield University ASHRAE student branch organised Data Centre Design Training for Students at Sheffield University on 14 Dec 2022. This training was focused mainly on overall design considerations and mechanical and electrical systems required for a data centre. Alex Nock from RED Engineering facilitated the event very well. He took through the different types of data centres and what you should and shouldn’t do when designing a data centre. The session was very interactive, and in between, students were given activities in which they had to design a data centre with mechanical and electrical systems. We thank Filippos and Alex Nock from RED Engineering for this wonderful session. After the event, we head out to the Christmas markets in Sheffield. Students had a wonderful time at the market.
