Optimising Indoor Environments for Health and Wellbeing Across the Life Course

Join us for a light-touch, informal Research Seminar bringing together PhD students, Early Career Researchers, academics, and industry colleagues around shared interests in healthy buildings and indoor environments. The session will create space to explore ideas, share early-stage research, and connect across disciplines focused on health, housing, and energy-efficient design.

Indicative topics include:

• Ventilation and indoor air quality impacts on respiratory health
• Linking housing and health data for prevention-focused risk identification
• Behavioural responses to energy-efficient housing
• Equity, human diversity, and justice in indoor climate standards and design
• Early life exposures and impacts on health and learning
• Evaluating energy-efficient indoor climate control in real buildings

Call for Short Presentations

Participants interested in giving a short 5–10 minute presentation are invited to submit a brief abstract (maximum 200 words) to the event organisers at grainne.mcgill@strath.ac.uk by 28th February.

The seminar will include short research presentations alongside invited contributions from industry partners, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and networking.
